आज़ के समय में पेट्रोल सबके लिए बहुत जरूरी हो गया है क्योंकि लगभग हर किसी के पास गाड़िया हो चुकी है इसलिए पेट्रोल बहुत जरूरी बनता चला जा रहा है। लेकिन आप लोगो को पता ही होगा कि पेट्रोल हमारे देश में दूसरे देशों से आता है। जिसमे काफी खर्च आता है। इसी को देखते हुए अब ने पेट्रोल में इथेनॉल मिलाने की तैयारी हो रही है। ये फायदेमंद होता है और इससे थोड़ा पेट्रोल के पैसे बच जाते है। इसमें 85% जो होता है, वो पेट्रोल और 15% जो होता है वो इथेनॉल होता है। और भारत सरकार का टारगेट है, की 2025 तक इसे 20% तक कर दिया जाए। और इथेनॉल मिलाने की इस क्रिया को इथेनॉल ब्लेंडिंग कहते है। ऐसा क्यों किया जाता है, तो देखिए क्योंकि भारत के पास बहुत ज्यादा ऑटो मोबाइल की इंडस्ट्री है। दुनिया में थर्ड नंबर पे हम लोग आते ऑटो मोबाइल के सेक्टर में भारत में कई अलग अलग प्रकार की गाड़ियां बनती है। जिसमें 26 मिलियन गाड़ियां हर साल भारत में बनती है। जिसमे से लगभग 5 मिलियन हर साल हम लोग निर्यात कर देते है। और इसमें जो ईंधन पड़ रहा है वो पेट्रोल से आ रहा है और पेट्रोल तो हमारे पास तो होता नहीं है। 80% हम लोग बाहर से ही मगाते है, ये पेट्रोल जो बाहर से आ रहा है वो तेल के कुएं या रीब से आ रहा है। इन्हे हम लोग कच्चा तेल खरीदते है जिन्हे हम क्रूड ऑयल कहते है इन्हे बैरल में खरीदते है, फिर इन्हे रिवाइनरी मे छान कर पेट्रोल पम्प तक पहुचाया जाता है। इससे क्या है की हम लोगो का बहुत बड़ा पैसा विदेशियों के पास चला जाता है। इसीलिए हम लोग इसमें 20% इथेनॉल मिला देते है की कुछ पैसा बचाया जा सके जो हमारे देश में काम आयेगा। और एक बार इथेनॉल सक्सेस हो गया ना तो 20% की जगह 30% करेगे और 30% की जगह 50% कर देंगे। और धीरे धीरे करके 80% कर देगे। और 80% कर देंगे तो उन लोगो को पैसा देने की जरूरत क्या है। इथेनॉल हम लोग खुद ही बना लेंगे। इथेनॉल जो है इसे इथाइल एल्कोहल भी कहते है, शराब बनाने में यही काम आता है। और आपने देखा होगा जो सेनिटाइजर होता है उसमे भी 70% इथेनॉल लिखा होता है। और इसे किंवन विधि द्वारा बनाया जाता है और पेट्रोल में मिला दिया जाता है। टारगेट है 20% मिक्स करने का लेकिन अगर ये काम कर गया तो इसे बढ़ा कर 50% कर दिया जाएगा।
